Office Building, Kifissia, Athens
In the center of Kefalari, in the Municipality of Kifissia in Athens, there is an old 1955 hotel consisting of a basement, a ground floor and three floors.
The Project
This is a new reinforced concrete building, hosting offices and a shop, in Glyfada Attica. The building consists of two basements, ground floor and two floors.
In order to serve the building’s commercial and operational needs in a better way, the owner asked for a loft (mezzanine) extension on the ground floor and an elevator installation throughout its full height.
We designed a composite reinforced concrete and structural steel solution, fully attached and integrated to the existing load-bearing body, in absolute conformity with the architectural design and with the building’s functionalism.
Composite construction provides speed, flexibility and economy in such interventions.
The project has not yet been implemented.
