Organizer Stores in Bucharest have an area of 15,500 m2, consisting of two interconnected steel-profile buildings, designed by architect Victor Fulicea.

The building in front has a ground floor and a first floor of a composite structure and is used as a store. The posterior building consists of a ground floor of the same height as the first floor of the front building and is used as a storage area. The foundations of the building consist of “pad footings” at the interior and a peripheral “strip foundation” of reinforced concrete, on soft clayey ground, in which the aquifer is high.

The steel-profile frames also feature x-shaped bracings, to enhance stiffness and take up horizontal forces (wind, earthquake, etc.). The buildings have been designed for heavy live loads on the ground and first floor. Cubus was responsible for all the phases of the design, from preliminary to final, and also prepared the shop drawings and the cutting lists as well as the erection drawings for the steel construction. The project has not yet been realized.
