The Project

Camel crossing bridge in the form of a closed frame, which is also a train – underpass to the new Dammam-Jubail railway line, in Saudi Arabia.

It is about 16 meters long and 15 meters wide, with a right-angled quadrilateral shape in plan view.

It is an integral system of reinforced concrete, based on a mat foundation.

The deck concreting took place onto a temporary soil banking up.

The entire bridge, including the abutments, the wing walls and the foundation, is an integral construction without joints.

This makes the construction economical and easy to maintain.
