High Performance Concrete has seen extensive and successful use in many countries over the last decade. In Greece, the first steps towards the production of High Performance Concrete have been undertaken by the company AGET-Herakles, through a research project co-funded by the greek GSRT (General Secretariat of Research and Technology), AGET-Herakles and Cubus Hellas, and executed in cooperation with the University of Thessaly’s Civil Engineering faculty. The material developed as part of the aforementioned program is fiber-reinforced concrete with compression strength approximating 110MPa, and high tensile strength.
